Impronta
Exhibition System.
A modular exhibition structure that turns an architectural window system into a walk-through experience of light, shadow and material.
Impronta required a flexible exhibition system capable of introducing its Italian window systems to different spaces and international audiences.
The challenge was to communicate the craftsmanship, material quality and architectural effect of the products without creating another conventional display filled with detached samples and technical information.
What if a window could leave an imprint?
A window frame is usually presented as a technical building component. Traditional displays rarely demonstrate its relationship with architecture, natural light, changing shadows and human movement.
What it meant, and what we decided.
What It Meant
Customers needed to understand the window frame as part of a complete architectural experience rather than seeing it as an isolated sample. The exhibition needed to demonstrate how the product interacts with space, light and people.
What We Decided
The window frame became the main architectural structure of the exhibition. As light passed through the frames, it created shadows that changed throughout the day and responded to the movement of visitors, who could walk around and through the installation.
The Result
A technical window product transformed into a memorable spatial experience, bringing product, light, shadow and human interaction together.
One system, different experiences.
The modular system can also be arranged as a corridor, corner installation, tower or outdoor structure — the same design identity working across exhibitions, retail environments and public spaces of different sizes.
The 1 sqm Installation
An enlarged frame introduces the product through its form, materials, craftsmanship and relationship with light and shadow.
The 4 sqm Installation
An interactive display allows visitors to examine components, handle physical samples and explore different finishes and construction options.
The 16 sqm Installation
A larger walk-through environment combines architectural frames, movement and changing shadows to create an immersive brand experience.
